This year’s National Ice Cream Day (Sunday, July 16!), Foodora with their two restaurant partners – The Death and Glory of Donuts in Venice – brought us a new Instagram treat. Everyone meets an ice cream donut sandwich “Death & Glory”.
With the Italian ricotta rosemary lemon gelato sandwich between the chocolate donuts, the brain children of Kaya Ogruce (Death of Venice) and Ashley Jacot De Boinod (Glory Hole Donuts) are children we never thought we needed Summer dessert. However, a $ 9 treat can only be offered through the Food Delivery app or website for a limited period of time (read: Sunday July 16 through Sunday July 23), so you must act quickly. Since ice cream and home delivery are not the best combination, the sweetness of death and glory can only be used for extraction.
But if you really do not like ice cream donuts or you just want to make a second ice cream on National Ice Cream Day (we do not judge!), We’ve covered it for you. Fortunately for many of our Torontonians, there are many other places where you can enjoy cryotherapy throughout the year. (Just like we need a national ice cream to eat the same). From Sweet Jesus’s marshmallow desserts to Japan’s imported green tea jelly, imported from Japan to iHalo Krunch’s hottest city charcoal treat, we’ve compiled one of the best ice cream in Toronto. Oh, did we mention that they are Instagram worth it? Yes, these cool foods will ensure too much like. We promise you.
