Victoria’s secret model and Adriana Lima. The 36-year-old Brazilian is the lingerie giant’s longest-running spokeswoman and holds the coveted title of angel for nearly two decades. More impressive is her data: the top model only made its debut at the age of 18, she wore three a total $9 million worth of Fantasy bra, and she was named the brand earlier this year in the history of the most valuable a face. More surprisingly, she opened her fifth VS show in 2012, less than two months after giving birth to her second daughter. Given all this, it’s fair to say that Lima knows more than most about keeping his body in top shape. We caught up with all of og-angel’s health and health pearls before she attended the 2017 annual party later this month.

Can you remember how you felt before your first Victoria’s secret show in 1999?

I was shocked and totally scared, but everyone was amazing. I remember looking around and seeing all the angels of the time like Heidi [klemm] and tara [Banks]. I must like it very much, because I’m still here!

What do you think of the activities in Shanghai this year?

I’m always nervous before I go on any show. It’s amazing to hear these people, but I’m human.

How long do you plan ahead?

As a model, I need to be ready all year long to train consistently. About two months before VS every year, I train harder and lose a little weight. I also try not to eat too many sweets, but it’s really hard because they are my favorite things.

What is your current exercise routine?

I’ve been changing a little bit. I like boxing, but I’ve been doing a lot of circuit training and running lately. I find the road to staying healthy really challenging. I always want to try new food. It may not be healthy. The key to balance this is to keep my body active. If I had a gym in my hotel, I’d wake up and do a quick workout, or I’d run outside and see where I was visiting. My other good idea is to pack a jump rope and do it in my room for the first ten minutes of the morning to get my heart rate up.

What is your flight procedure?

According to the length of the flight, I will sleep, watch movies, eat fruit snacks and, most importantly, drink a lot of water. To cure jet lag, I try to fit my body into my schedule anywhere in the world.

What do you eat every day to stay healthy?

I like smoothies, fresh fruits and vegetables. I also take vitamins every day and drink lots of different herbal teas to help cleanse my body. It didn’t bounce back the way it was used after having children, so in addition to being a tired mother, I had to work hard.

What advice would you give other new mothers to try to shape?

Don’t be too hard on yourself, listen to your body – it will tell you when to exercise again. Work hard, but don’t deprive your body of essential nutrients, because it’s important to keep your energy in the gym.

Do you have any rehearsal?

It’s not true. I just said a little prayer and ran onto the track. After the show, I will celebrate with many delicacies and dance with all the other angels.
